Friday 1 August 2008: Give your Dad something very special this Father’s Day
Father’s Day is on Sunday 7th September and is now just over one month away. So there is still time to create a special gift that captures the great moments you have shares with your dad. Thursday 5 April 2007: Gift vouchers now available
Albumprinter gift vouchers were released today (and just in time for Mother's Day). The gift vouchers are a quick and easy way to enable that special person to create a beautiful Albumprinter photo book, calendar, poster or photoflip. Friday 23 March 2007: New Album Editor v4 released
The latest version of the Albumprinter Editor is now available. We will be emailing all customers progressively over the next 2-3 days advising of the availability of the version. To update your Editor:
1. Open your Album Editor, click Options and then Update Software and follow the prompts (this is the easiest and most automated way of upgrading); or
2. Download the Album Editor from here, and install the file
When installing this new version of the Album Editor all of your existing project files will not be affected and are fully compatible with the new version of the Editor. Please note this is a mandatory update - you cannot continue to use the existing Editor version.
Wednesday 28 February 2007: Album Editor V4 feature summary
Version 4 of the new Album Editor contains some great new features. The highlights of the new version are:
- A simplified user interface. We had feedback that some of the more advanced image control functions such as transparency, rotation and aspect ratio were not accessible enough. So we've done away with the advanced toolbar altogether and instead incorporated all of this functionality directly into the interface. You can now access all of the advanced image functions by either right mouse clicking on a photo or by clicking on an editing icon located at the top of each photo (it's an upside down green triangle) - see the image at right.
- Labeling on the front cover of the albums. We've recently purchased a high powered laser labeling machine and with the V4 editor you can now have labels etched into the cover of your albums.
The results look great
- Commence a calendar from any month. The year doesn't have to start with January! With the V4 editor you now have the option of commencing a calendar from any month of the year.
Tuesday 9 January 2007: A touching story
We received an email from a customer a few days ago that we wanted to share with you. A customer created an album that told the story of the first year of her relationship with her boyfriend. The album was a gift on their first anniversary and was a story told with both photos and text. Anyway, the gift was presented and the odd tear was shed as the couple re-lived the moments that they had shared across the last 12 months. It was apparently a deeply emotional moment and then topped off with a wedding proposal! It's a story that really touched us and makes it rewarding to be involved in what at times is a lot more than a business.
