Albumprinter was founded in 2001 in the Netherlands and after 2 years of development, Albumprinter started selling photo books in 2003. In early 2005 Albumprinter began expanding internationally and has grown into the European market leader in photo book software with installations in nearly all European countries, the USA and of course Australia. Each year our software manages the production of more than one million products. Albumprinter has been recognised for its products and user-friendly software package. Both PC Magazine (January 2005 and January 2006) and the national Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad (March 2005) have awarded Albumprinter with "Best Product".

Albumprinter launched in Australia in July 2006. 

The Australian management team is headed by Andrew Smith and Esther Rijsemus.

Andrew is a keen amateur photographer and has extensive experience in the development and management of Internet-based businesses. He has held senior executive roles with Telstra and was most recently Chief Executive of LAWLEX, Australia's leading Internet-based risk and compliance management company. Andrew is responsible for all sales and marketing activity of Albumprinter Australia.

Esther has a background in customer service and human resource management. She has held executive roles in Human Resource Management internationally and worked as a consultant with a focus on change management. Esther is responsible for operations, administration and customer service for Albumprinter Australia.
